CAYUGA LAKE NATIONAL BANK'S 5th ANNUAL BEE YOU AWARDS
What is a BEE YOU Award?
The Bee You Awards highlight students who make a difference and positively impact their peers and community
- and recognizes them for their exceptional acts of leadership, kindness, community service and more.
Nominees must be students who exhibit one or more of the following characteristics:
*Motivation *Kindness *Empathy *Compassion *Dedication *Leadership *Authenticity *Bravery
Who is eligible for a BEE YOU Award?
The Bee You Awards celebrate two students in EACH grade (6th grade to 12th grade) in EACH district from of our
neighboring Lansing, Moravia, Southern Cayuga and Union Springs school districts.
What happens when a student is selected to receive a BEE YOU Award?
Selected students are celebrated and recognized at an annual awards ceremony, held in April each year. Upon check-in at the event, every nominee is given two raffle tickets - the first is for one of (4) $100 VISA gift cards to be raffled.
The second raffle is for the evening's grand prize of $1,000.
Nominees are then directed to their seat - where they will find a swag bag of goodies.
Presenters then share each students' reason for their nomination and present them with a certificate.
After photos - and the raffle winners announced - a reception follows.
How does a student get nominated for BEE YOU Award?
Anyone can nominate a student - teachers, parents, neighbors, coaches, employers, club advisors - anyone!
When the nomination period opens (usually in early winter) you have two options for submissions: you can submit online, using the form below, or complete a paper application.
