Funds Availability
Cayuga Lake National Bank has same-day funds
availability. Your account will be credited for a deposit on the same
business day. The bank reserves the right to impose exceptions to the availability
of funds in certain circumstances. Some of these instances may include
new accounts, large item deposits or concerns regarding collection of
funds. There are no service charges as a result of
unavailable/uncollected funds.
Direct Deposit
For your convenience, direct deposit is available.
This feature provides you with a fast and easy way to have your funds
readily accessible.
Fees and Services Charges
Our financial institution takes pride in the fact that
we are customer oriented and do not impose fees and services charges to
maintain your accounts with us. There are unlimited
numbers of transactions, that means any number or deposits or withdrawal
can be made from your account without a fee or a service charge.
Visa Debit Card
We have Visa Debit Cards available for your convenience. We
do not charge a fee or a service charge to use our debit cards at either
of our proprietary ATM machines. You may also use your Visa Debit Card
at any retail establishment where Visa Cards are accepted to purchase
goods and services. Our Visa Debit Cards are honored worldwide at
any locations that display the VISA, PLUS, MAC or Cartel network
symbols.
If you should lose your card report it to the bank immediately at
315-889-7358. If you lose our card on non-business days (holidays
or weekends) you may call Visa directly at 1-800-528-2273. Be sure
to keep your Visa card number in a safe place for reference in
situations like this.
Bank Information Line (BIL)
The Bank Information Line (BIL) is a 24-hour a day, 7
days a week automated service that Cayuga Lake National Bank provides
for our customers. This service allows you to inquire about your
balances, check the status of checks you have written and even transfer
funds between your accounts. The automated system will also allow you to
make payments over the phone for your loans. This is just one of the
many ways that our financial institution tries to accommodate our
customers busy lives.
e-Banker (Internet Banking)
Access your account information by enrolling in our
internet banking. e-Banker provides the convenience of viewing account
activity on your deposit and loan accounts. You may look to see if a
check has been paid or a deposit has arrived 24-hours a day, 7 days a
week.
There are numerous options available for funds management, some of which
include: balancing your accounts; setting up transfers to other deposit
and loan accounts held at CLNB; and even categorizing expenses.
Overdraft Protection
Savings to Checking Overdraft Protection - An
additional benefit for you is free service called savings to checking
overdraft protection. This service will transfer money from your savings
to your checking in the event that you were going to overdraw your
account. This service will avoid an overdraft on your checking account
and also avoid an overdraft fee.
Line of Credit Protection -We
offer a loan that is attached to your checking account and in the event
of an overdraft the loan account would place money in your checking
account to avoid an overdraft and the overdraft fee. Subject to
approval.
Chex Systems
Chex Systems Inc. is a consumer reporting agency that
Cayuga Lake National Bank uses to confirm your relationship with other
financial institutions. A person may be reported to Chex Systems for
improper use of deposit accounts. When we call Chex Systems we just
verify that your name is not is their system.
